Coyhaique sits right in the middle of the Carretera Austral, making it one of the best starting points for exploring the Aysén region. From here you're within reach of the Marble Caves, Lago General Carrera, Cerro Castillo and Queulat National Park. Our camper rental in Coyhaique puts a fully equipped 4×4 vehicle at your disposal — solar power, full kitchen and heating for total independence on Patagonia's most spectacular road.
We're a family-run team operating along the Carretera Austral since 2018. When a camper is available locally in Coyhaique, pickup is free. If not, we relocate one from our Puerto Varas base for a fee — and you get direct WhatsApp support from Andrés and José throughout your trip.
Coyhaique is the central hub of the route. Head south to Puerto Río Tranquilo and the Marble Caves, or north toward Queulat and its hanging glacier.
Balmaceda airport (BBA) is just 50 minutes away, with direct flights from Santiago. Pick up your camper and start exploring Aysén the same day.
Gravel, river crossings and changing weather are the norm here. Our 4×4 campers are off-grid ready and built to handle every kilometer in comfort.
Free pickup when a camper is available locally. If we need to relocate one, the one-way fee below applies.
In Coyhaique we hand the camper over at our depot and nowhere else — no hotel delivery, no airport meet. The depot is on the way into town from Balmaceda (BBA), so it is on your route rather than a detour, and transfers from the airport are inexpensive and run with every flight. Handovers are Monday to Saturday.
Pick up here and drop off in another city — useful if you fly home from a different airport.
